FreightCoreTMS™ gives small and mid-size carriers a single system for dispatch, billing, driver management, and compliance — without the enterprise price tag.
No credit card. No commitment. Be first in line when we launch.
Dispatcher dashboard. Active loads, fleet utilization, multi-timezone clock, and a live audit feed. Built for the question dispatchers ask at 8 AM: what's moving today?
Sound Familiar?
Most small carriers are still cobbling together spreadsheets, WhatsApp, paper rate cons, and QuickBooks manual entry. There's a better way.
You're tracking loads in Excel, texting drivers updates, and hoping nothing falls through the cracks during a busy week.
You're manually re-keying load data into QuickBooks, chasing down PODs, and still waiting 45+ days for payment.
Load details, pickup addresses, rate confirmations — your drivers shouldn't need to call you every hour to do their job.
Rate cons in email, BOLs in a folder, PODs texted as photos. Finding the right document during an audit is a nightmare.
Without a system, calculating true per-load profitability — fuel, driver pay, tolls — requires a custom spreadsheet every time.
Enterprise TMS platforms cost $300–$500/month and take weeks to set up. You don't need 400 features — you need the 40 that matter.
How we compare
Most TMS platforms were built for 200-truck fleets, then bolted on a "starter" plan. We built FreightCoreTMS from the bottom up — for the 1-to-50-truck operator who's been priced out of real software.

Why We Built This
"My first time inside a TMS was on the heavy-haul side — and the platform wasn't built for the work. Confirming permits, pilot cars, and police escorts off handwritten action sheets, then digging through green sheets to verify load specs and blocking before anything could roll. When I looked at how standard carriers were running their operations, I saw the same problem in a different shape: spreadsheets, paper rate cons, WhatsApp threads, and QuickBooks re-keys instead of a real TMS. FreightCoreTMS is the system I always wished existed."
Gil Bechtel · Founder, FreightCoreTMS LLC

For heavy haul carriers
FreightCoreTMS handles standard carrier operations. For permits, axle weight calculations, route surveys, and OSOW compliance, check out OverSizeTMS — our specialized platform for heavy haul carriers. Same FreightCore platform, built for the hardest loads on the road.
Reference Guide
What to look for, and what to ask, when you're comparing TMS options at 1–50 trucks. A short, plain-English field reference built around the workflows that actually run a carrier — dispatch, billing, drivers, compliance.
No email gate. No form. Just the guide.
Frequently asked
Switching TMS feels risky. Here are the honest answers — in plain English, before you have to ask.
Only power units count toward your plan: tractors, trucks, and straight trucks. Trailers, chassis, jeeps and boosters are free. Dispatchers, billing staff, drivers in the driver portal, and read-only users are all unlimited on every plan. The per-truck count is what's enforced — everything else is free. And every feature is available on every plan — there's no 'upgrade to unlock dispatch' or 'premium analytics' tier.
Both. The Customer → Quote → Order → Load → Dispatch → Invoice chain works the same whether you're brokering the load to a carrier (carrier dispatch with rate confirmation) or hauling it on your own equipment (internal dispatch to a driver). Many of our customers run both books on the same FreightCoreTMS tenant.
Yes. We import customers, locations, lane history, rate matrix, commodity profiles, and historical loads from Excel, CSV, or your current TMS export. Most carriers are operational within 48 hours of starting the import. Onboarding is direct from the founder — no ticketing system, no waiting in a queue.
Yes. CSV export of every record — customers, loads, dispatches, invoices, payments, audit log — is included on every plan. Available anytime, no separate fee, no notice period. Your data is yours. Cancel month-to-month and walk away clean.
QuickBooks Online sync is shipped. Connect FreightCoreTMS to your QBO company via OAuth in Settings → Integrations. Each Invoice and Payment can be pushed to QBO on demand — customer records auto-create in QBO on first sync (we look them up by name, then create if missing). Push direction is FC → QBO; access tokens auto-refresh every hour against your stored refresh token. QBD (Desktop) is not supported directly; QBD users can still use the CSV export.
Both Samsara and Motive are shipped. Connect via Samsara Personal Access Token or Motive OAuth in Settings → Integrations. The integration covers vehicle binding (map each truck to its ELD vehicle ID), live GPS positions on the dispatch map updated every 5 minutes, and — on Motive — driver Hours-of-Service warnings that surface on dispatch save when the assigned driver is off-duty or low on legal drive time. Geotab and Verizon Reveal can slot in after using the same provider-abstraction layer. If you need a specific ELD vendor we don't list yet, ask.
Your call — drivers can use either. (1) The mobile-responsive driver portal runs in any phone browser today: assigned loads, pickup/delivery details, attached documents, BOL/POD upload, and signature capture, with no install. (2) A native iOS and Android driver app ships at launch — same features, same data, same login, but installable from the App Store and Google Play for drivers who prefer it. Both are included on every plan.
Every load generates a tokenized public link. No login, no account, no app install. Your customer opens the link from any phone browser and gets read-only access to the BOL and POD when you authorize them, plus the option to e-sign the rate confirmation directly from the page. The page is branded with your logo, colors, and terms — they never see FreightCoreTMS.
Yes. FreightCoreTMS captures mileage by state on every load and auto-populates state mileage from your truck's route in one click. The IFTA quarterly report shows per-jurisdiction tax owed and credits, with full fuel purchase reconciliation for audit purposes.
Yes — schedule templates (oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, DOT annual, transmission service, etc.) configurable per tenant, with per-equipment overrides when a specific truck's cadence differs from the template. Service history captures labor + parts + total cost + vendor + odometer + receipt on every record. Daily alerts fire 7 days ahead of due date and on overdue. Maintenance Cost report rolls up per-truck spend with cost-per-mile. Parts inventory and shop integration are post-launch.
Yes — WEX FleetSmart, EFS-Comdata, Comdata, and Mudflap are all live as of today. Connect your provider in Settings → Integrations → Fuel Card, paste your API credentials (EFS and Comdata both use FleetCor's Fleet Studio API, so they share the same credentials shape under the hood; Mudflap uses its own developer API), and FreightCoreTMS auto-creates a fuel purchase record every time you fuel up. Each transaction is mapped to the right truck by card number and auto-feeds your IFTA quarterly report — no more manual fuel-purchase data entry. The integration is BYOK — your fuel card provider's API access is included with most fleet accounts at no extra cost from us.
Seven out of the box: 123Loadboard, TruckSmarter, NextLOAD, Direct Freight, Trucker Path, DAT, and Truckstop. All BYOK — bring your own API credentials, we never see the invoice. The dispatcher's unified search queries every enabled board in parallel and ranks results in one list, so you stop flipping between seven tabs. DAT and Truckstop specifics: posting your loads works with any standard broker subscription on each platform (no extra add-on); searching the board via API requires the customer-side API access add-on on top of the base sub — when not enabled, the dispatcher gets a clear "your account needs the API add-on" message instead of a silent failure. If a load board you use isn't on this list, the universal search and manual entry workflows still work.
Yes — two ways. (1) Universal: one click on any invoice generates a branded factoring submission PDF (Invoice + BOL + POD + rate-con merged) you can email or upload to any factor. (2) Native API: OTR Solutions, Denim, Triumph Business Capital, and RTS Financial are all live as of today — when you've connected your credentials in Settings → Integrations → Factoring, the same one click POSTs the packet directly to your factor's API and returns a real factor reference. Triumph and RTS both require a 2-3 week partner certification cycle, so factor that into your timeline. RTS is owned by McLeod Software, so if you're switching from McLeod LoadMaster you keep your existing RTS API setup. BYOK — bring your own factor account.
Yes. Every Load and Dispatch shows the forecast at pickup and delivery. The fleet map displays live NWS severe-weather alert polygons. Loads are auto-flagged if they hit a severe-weather zone, with a banner on the dispatch that notifies dispatchers. Drivers see conditions for their next stop in the driver portal.
No. Every feature is included on every plan. There's no 'upgrade to unlock dispatch' or 'premium analytics' tier. The only differentiators reserved for Established (21–50 trucks) are services, not software gates: dedicated onboarding, free TMS data migration, and an advanced support SLA.
Established Fleet (21–50 trucks) comes with three services included: dedicated onboarding (we configure the system to your workflows), free data migration from your existing TMS, and an advanced support SLA with priority response. Volume pricing is negotiated in a quick conversation. Email [email protected] to talk.
Same company, same codebase, different defaults. FreightCoreTMS is tuned for standard carriers running dry van, reefer, flatbed, and general freight. OverSizeTMS adds the heavy-haul features: per-state permit workflow, escort rule engine, axle weight and superload classification, route surveys, and pilot car coordination. If you don't run oversize, FreightCoreTMS is the right product.
Sign up at Founder pricing and your monthly rate is locked at that number for as long as your account stays active — no annual contract, no anniversary increases, no surprise repricing when integrations like QuickBooks ship. Cancel anytime. Resubscribe later and you pay current-MSRP, not the locked Founder rate.
FreightCoreTMS is founder-led. The software is built and operated by someone with 12 years in the transportation industry — the last 10 spent in oversize and heavy haul, working nearly every link in the chain: piloting and escorting loads, running route surveys, dispatching moves, submitting and managing permits, and arranging pilot cars and bucket trucks to clear the route ahead of the freight. A decade of coordinating the moving parts that keep an oversize load legal and on schedule led to a simple conclusion: a TMS this opinionated about workflow can't be built by people who've never worked the moves themselves.
Every customer gets direct access to the person who built it. That's the trade for staying small — faster fixes, no script-reading tier-1 support, and a roadmap that responds to actual operator feedback instead of a feature committee.
Two ways to get started — both take less than 15 minutes.
